Composite structural reinforcement (rebar) is corrosion-resistant, much lighter than steel, non-conductive, EM-transparent, and inert with respect to wandering currents. When used with concrete, the encasing concrete layer can also be thinner than with steel rebar. Composites have high tensile strength and high elasticity, which need to be taken into account in the design of FRP reinforcement. For reinforcement during renovation, we offer carbon lamellas and mats, complete with our own range of glues.
